It looks great in the box and the packaging is luxurious so I love that. I was just trying to give the sink a quick rinse before pouring the whiskey, but the lid fell out of my hands and into the sink. The fall wasn't hard, maybe 10 inches, but the top of the glass shattered a bit! I don't know if it's crystal or just a piece of glass as crystal is supposed to be stronger.July 22, 2024

Overall, I give it 4 stars to emphasize that you get what you pay for. The seams on the glass are clearly visible, and the opening of the carafe itself is not even where it meets the cork. But for the price, you can hardly complain. The packaging is great! This would make a great gift.March 8, 2024

I bought this decanter set as a Christmas gift for my husband. I didn't want something that cost a ton of money so this was a good choice for my budget. The packaging is beautiful and I love the glass stopper on the cutter and the thickness of all the glass. The seams on the glass are definitely not a big deal but that's why I didn't give it five stars. It served its purpose and my husband was happy with his gift. As for the price, that's not an issue. It looks like a 5 year old put a sticker on a nice bottle. It's so far off center it's very noticeable, and the sticker smells like burnt plastic and leaves a grainy textured residue on my hands. It's not what I expected at all. Edit: I contacted the store and they said they would send me a replacement. I'll update my review if they do. They sent me another one that looks much better than the first one they sent me. Shipping was also fast. My rating went up from 1 to 4 stars.June 11, 2023

Something went wrong with my first order. I received only the glass instead of the tumbler and decanter, but the company quickly resolved the issue and told me I could keep the extra glass. The glass arrived in perfect condition and is very sturdy and doesn't seem to break easily. The carafe has a slight bevel at the neck of the bottle. There was a card in the box with an email address in case there were any issues. I emailed the company a photo and they sent me a replacement within a week, no questions asked. Every company has quality control issues from time to time, but it's how they deal with it that matters the most. If this product had a little more capacity, I would give it 5 stars.August 15, 2022

This is a nice carafe. My husband loves it. However, please note that it only holds 750 ml of liquid, even though the description says it holds more. The 750 ml carafe also pushes water into the carafe when you fill it, which is where the stopper is. The capacity information itself is contradictory, as one place says 30 oz and another says 35 oz. Neither is correct. Overall, we are happy with this purchase. Our only complaint is that it is not clear how much liquid it holds. This needs to be addressed in the product details.July 2, 2022

I bought this as a bridal shower gift. It arrived safely and well packaged. The glasses have a nice weight. The only thing I don't like is that you can see the seams on each lens. But for the price, it's still a nice set of glasses.March 6, 2021

Well, overall, it's a decent product, but not a great one, if that makes sense. It's a nice gift that you can give to someone to say "I thought of you". You won't be showing it off in their house, but it's a nice gift. The thing that really bothers me is that it's 735 ml, not 750 ml…actually every bottle is 750 ml, and I don't understand why they don't make it a little bigger so they can pour a whole bottle of wine…but overall, it's good. The glass is well made and the cup fits nicely. The stones are more of a novelty than practical, but they look classy, which is half the battle. The booklet is nice too, with some good recipes in it. Overall, it's not a bad purchase, just not classy enough on its own. But for the price, you can't go wrong with it as a gift.February 7, 2021

In the past, people would marvel and be in awe at the sharp edges of cut glass, with a twinkle in their eyes reflecting the color of the light on the shop surface, while pressed glass had smooth, rounded edges and opaque colors. There was a price difference between the two types of glass, as pressed glass was cheaper and less attractive to the discerning eye. This set of decanters is made of pressed glass, and while well designed, securely packaged, and creatively marketed as Made in Italy, it does not have the lasting value of a future treasured heirloom. The term pressed glass has been used before, and the same metaphor applies to crystal. This set of decanters is heavy, marketed as glass, and looks like it was pressed rather than hand-cut. A set of luxurious decanters is worth the money and can make a practical little gift when time and budget allow. They are passed down from generation to generation, with a chuckle on their lips: often forgotten, but always this price and quality.December 24, 2020

I ordered the carafe with 2 glasses and while it was a good amount they looked cheap. The engraving also has some chips and when you run your finger over it the engraving looks weird, as if you would cut yourself if you kept running your finger over it. They are for my dad so I hope it doesn't cut him when he holds the carafe or glasses. Overall they look neat and are average value for money.August 18, 2020
