11 year old uses a palatal expander. My 11 year old son uses a palatal expander because his upper jaw is too narrow and needs the expander to accommodate his permanent teeth. Even when brushing with a toothbrush, food particles get stuck on the expander and the food particles are still there. You can't floss the teeth that are attached to the expander, the food particles get stuck in the middle of the palate where the expander and braces are. With this water nozzle, I was able to get all the food particles out. I aim for the middle and side teeth and then there you go! It has 3 functions. I use the gentle mode because it doesn't splash all over my face… gross! I ask that you go in the shower because it can be difficult to steam clean the palate to clean the expander. But it really works. The clear expander is exactly what we need and it really works. The good thing is that it doesn't take up much space in the sink. It's very compact and very convenient to use.

It feels weird if you're not used to it, but I think it works pretty well. I've used traditional floss my whole life, and only occasionally…I've never tried water flossing, and I must say, it takes a while to get used to. At first, I wasn't too fond of it compared to the "old way," but I wanted to use it for at least a few more weeks before making a final decision. Now that I'm used to it, it's not that weird to use. I feel like it works pretty well, and my teeth are clean…even cleaner than flossing, so that's a good sign. I haven't had to go to the dentist again…that's for sure, but since I'm single, I hope that the next time I go to the dentist, I'm in a good relationship. Easy to use, refill, etc. The battery holds up well. It doesn't seem to be indestructible, but it has lasted me a few months so far, even though I use it about 4 or 5 times a week. Modern. This is an upgrade from my 4 year old hookah. I love it. It has a large water tank and several options to choose from. It's relatively simple and does what I need it to do. I only use one of the prongs but keep the others as spares. The one that looks like a spoon, I don't know what it's for but I tried to put it on my tongue and choked on the water because it spit out a lot of water so I threw it away. Due to the design of the water tank, black mold can easily accumulate. UPDATE: The seller sent me a replacement, and the newer model has much better buttons. They are harder to press, so they are less likely to catch fire. Definitely better for travel! The water tank is not replaced, so be sure to empty and dry it after each use. Original Review: The water tank itself works great. But I would not buy it again for two reasons. First, the water tank can be removed, but it is in two pieces, and the small space between the two pieces can accumulate black mold. It has good power and pressure but is a bit large. I like that it has a lot of power/pressure to push flesh and other stuff out from between teeth. When I had my wisdom teeth removed, my teeth shifted which made it easy for food particles to get stuck in my molars. Using regular floss is difficult to impossible because it sticks to my molars, but I have sensitive gums. Since it is portable, it does a really good job of repelling debris compared to models with caps. To be honest, I wish it was a little smaller. My old set was very compact and lighter.

When I was doing a thorough dental care routine, brushing with an electric toothbrush for two minutes, flossing, rinsing, and scraping my tongue, I always had very mild and persistent bad breath that never went away, no matter how hard I tried to maintain oral hygiene. The wand and wand release buttons are easy to use and a good size. To remove the water tank, just twist it 1/8 and put it down. I think the instructions mistakenly state that you have to twist it 360 degrees. The water flosser also comes with a charging cable. However, I found an unexpected use for it. My water bottle lid has little nooks and crannies that are hard to clean. Mold can collect in the little crevices. The tips used are removable and replaceable, which makes my maintenance easier because I do orthodontic treatments and I have specific tips for each case. Great value for the money. Easy to use. I didn't want to use my old water flosser anymore so a friend recommended this to me a few weeks ago so I bought this one. It's almost as good as the one I've been using for 10 years but this one is cheaper and has a longer battery life. Also, it has more yarn ends. I'm used to the more powerful gears but the higher 4th and 5th gears at 4 amps work just as well. Also, the travel bag is great! I recommend putting the end of the cord in your mouth before turning it on because you're going to be showering. I find it difficult to remove the "water tank" from the unit to clean it and you can only hold it from the bottom or your usual hand to turn it on and off or change gears. It's a little annoying but it's a good saver for now. Time will tell.

Excellent water flosser. My gums are much stronger than before. This portable water flosser is 10 times stronger than my previous water flosser with a hose. You can adjust the strength to suit your needs and gums. I use the strongest setting for my front gums and a slightly weaker setting for my back gums due to sensitivity. It has a large capacity and charges well. It also has a lower setting than my previous water flosser. Highly recommended!

But the advantage of this water flosser is that you don't have to deal with a cord. It works well between teeth, which is usually not recommended. Regular stringing doesn't work. It's a good choice for on-the-go use.
