I received the 8 oz package with 8 glass bottles. There was no packing material in the large box to hold the smaller bottles in place so the smaller bottles moved around in and out. I asked for a "fragile" label on the package but it didn't. The other 7 bottles looked good and were larger than I expected.December 29, 2024

Unfortunately, the bottom of one of my kombucha bottles came loose during the second ferment. Since only one of the eight bottles had the problem, I suspect one of the bottles had a weak spot. Other than that, they seal well and are easy to use.September 27, 2023

Very nice bottle, one of eight bottles. The mesh on the bottle is used to hold the flap in place, and the wire on the flap that holds the lid in place will randomly fall off the mesh. I have never had one fall off due to too much pressure, but a few times they have fallen off when I closed the lid. The mesh is so loose that the bottle will leak out the top if the pressure is too high. I have had many leaks, but never one blow out.September 5, 2023

These jars are great, but they are not meant for pouring and probably not for drinking. I put homemade vanilla extract in one of these jars and pour a little out to use. But when pouring it drips everywhere and runs down the sides of the bottle. I don't want to waste homemade vanilla extract like a cheap vanilla bean, so I recommend not using these pour jars.August 2, 2023

They look normal. As I said, 1 out of 8 was broken, probably in transit. Strangely, they don't have the word "fragile" written on the packaging. That's definitely a bummer. Good thing they come with an extra rubber protective cover because they would wear out pretty quickly. They seem to work well for the lemongrass and oranges that need support. Cheers!July 19, 2023

I like these, so don't get me wrong. But when I packaged and opened them, they were covered in a layer of dust and grease and smelled like mold. I ran them through the dishwasher a few times on the sanitize cycle and that seemed to work. They are nice thick bottles and I like the flip top cap. I bought them to bottle my own vanilla extract.May 10, 2023
