The bowls are great, the lids are so-so. The bowls are great, look sturdy, and are very useful when cooking with a lot of prep. The kids don't like them and often run off. They are great to put over the bowls and cover them, especially to keep flies from getting in or the cats from barking while you're eating in the kitchen. Not bad, but has scratches. Not bad, but has scratches when used to mix soil. Visible scratches after mixing with an electric beater and a mixer. Caching works well. You may slip if you're not careful on slippery surfaces.October 6, 2024

I'm glad I bought them. I need more bowls so I thought I'd give them a try. I love the lid and how it fits perfectly. They're easy to use and definitely help me add variety. The colors are beautiful and I noticed which plates and bowls go well together. It's not a matter of trial and error to find the right lid. I haven't fully tested the slip resistance yet but haven't had any problems so far. Definitely practical.September 28, 2024

The lids may be problematic. This isn't the best quality set, but for the price, it's good value. I've read complaints about the lids not fitting properly. Another issue I had was that they were difficult to remove. If you've stored liquids in them, it could make a mess. This will get better over time. The lids are hard plastic, not the softer silicone I imagined. Since I don't put any of my cooking or baking utensils in the dishwasher, I can't comment on that. I would have liked to have gotten a set with rubber feet, but the towels kept them from sliding around. I probably wouldn't buy this set again, but that has nothing to do with workmanship, just my personal preference. Overall, this is a set of bowls that does what it's supposed to do. My problem may not matter to you, but overall I like them. In the pictures you'll notice that the size markings on each bowl are hard to see, almost invisible. Looking at the second picture online, the labels are darker and easier to read. In the picture I have a 1.1 liter bowl with 1 liter of water in it. The lids will not overflow if you fill them to the amount marked on the bowl. Just use the next size up. That's the solution. I found a bargain, good value for money, and the weight is just right. All the lids fit well and I really like the different colors. The high rim allows for mixing and stirring without splashing. And the rim is the right size with plenty of grip. The problem is ease of use. As you can see in the third picture, they stack very well. Very happy with the amount of steel and plastic in the lids.February 19, 2024

Unfortunately the lids fall off when food is refrigerated but they are still great containers. I love containers and lids that seal but when storing food in the fridge the lids fall off when cold and don't seal. If they could fix this it would be perfect.November 13, 2023

The lids leak, but other than that they are great. These bowls are a great deal for the price: 21. The bowls themselves seem sturdy and well made. The lids fit well and can be removed when needed. However, the lids are not airtight and not waterproof. I need them to be waterproof so I can put them in an ice bucket without the ice water mixing with the contents of the bowls… gross! I tested both bowls to see if they leaked. I filled them halfway with water, was very careful to make sure the lids were tight, and then turned them over. Unfortunately, both bowls leaked and water kept spilling out. I suspect the same is true for the other bowls. If you don't need waterproof bowls, I recommend this set.October 24, 2023

Great bowl and lid set. I love this bowl and lid. They come in a variety of sizes to suit all cooking needs. Very good quality and very reasonably priced. The only thing to be aware of is that these lids only fit loosely over the silver bowls and do not create an airtight seal if you tilt the bowl and lid about halfway, the food inside may push the lid open slightly and the food will spill out. It was working great until I cleaned it. I was so excited when it arrived. It said it was dishwasher safe and the bowl and plates were hand wash only. The only problem is the bowl already has little circular rust spots on it from the dishwasher. I also dried it on hot air at the end of the cycle. Too bad I don't know what to do next. I love this game but not if it's going to rust so quickly. I bought it on October 16th and I can already see this problem.January 4, 2023

Oops! Not all lids are airtight! I think these bowls would be awesome if all lids were airtight. Unfortunately, they are not. I had to add a rubber band to keep some of the bowls covered tightly. Wow!August 2, 2022

One bowl has a crack on the edge. These bowls are very lightweight and I wish they were a little sturdier, but I like heavier bowls, so I took the star off because one of my bowls had a crack on the edge when it arrived home. I was disappointed but thought it was okay and probably wouldn't spread. I like that they are stackable, though, and that they come with lids. One lid is pretty loose, though, but the others all vacuum sealed well.April 8, 2022

It served its purpose, the lid does not seal. Not bad. I like the way you can stack them. The lid is there to keep food out of the container and to be able to stack the containers in the freezer. The lid does not seal, so keep that in mind when storing because the contents can spill out if you're not careful.October 25, 2021

Excellent value for money. Excellent value for money. The plastic lids seal very well, and you can almost feel the air gap form and open when putting the lid on or taking it off. It's very reassuring to know that these bowls are airtight. Both the bowl and the lid fit together perfectly, so the whole thing doesn't take up any more space than a larger bowl. The only downside is that the metal bowls are a lot lighter than the metal ones. Maybe this is a reflection of my age a few years, but I had my last set of bowls for ten or twenty years, and when I gave this set away, I wanted to get a new set. I was surprised at the quality of the metal. This shouldn't be a problem, but I wouldn't recommend it for commercial kitchens, as frequent use can distort the rounded shape of the bowls to the point where the lids no longer fit. For normal home use, however, this shouldn't be a problem. Again: overall excellent value for money, as this set of bowls is very inexpensive and really works.January 21, 2021

The smell is awful and hard to put on, but the customer service is great. I just hand washed the lids, but I found them hard to put on. The bowls also have a metallic taste. I haven't decided yet if I want to keep them. I like the flexibility of the size, but I don't think I can stand the smell. Edit The seller has contacted you to correct this order. Lots of choices for stainless steel bowls, but… Beautiful line of stainless steel bowls, all with lids that fit perfectly. They all stack on top of each other like kids do, so they take up a little more room than they should. My only complaint is that the sizes aren't indicated. I think you know what you're getting, but if someone tells me to buy a 1 quart bowl, I have no idea what I'm looking for. Other than that, they serve the purpose of purchasing them. Update: It looks like I need jars, the sizes are laser etched on the side of each bowl, so ignore all the crap I said about not having jars, because they definitely have some. Practical and cute! These bowls are sturdy, the stainless steel is still a bit non-stick, and they don't show scratches easily even when using a metal fork. The lids are a great idea, the color scheme is fun, and they work for the most part, but I had a hard time getting the lid on one of the bowls, I think the size was a bit off or it was a bit stretched at some point. Other than that, the matching containers are totally easy to convert into food containers, making it easy to store food in the fridge or elsewhere. Another minor issue is their storage design. The circumference of the base of the large bowl is larger than the small lid, which means you can stack and store all of the container lids underneath the bowl. You can do this starting with the third small lid, but you'll have to find a place for the others. It's not a big deal, but for those with limited kitchen space, it could be a game changer.March 21, 2020
