The lids don't close tightly. I love these bowls and they are great because sometimes I need a little cover to take my cereal to work in the morning, but the biggest downside I have found so far is that the lids on these bowls don't slide on. They do open. They stay on the bowls well. They fit well, but the problem is keeping them secure and closed. I have run these bowls through the dishwasher a few times and have also washed the lids by hand and they still don't close tightly. Do I recommend these bowls? Of course! Do I recommend using lids? Absolutely not unless you want to keep them on the countertop, in the fridge, or somewhere the bowls can't move.June 9, 2023

These lids are not airtight. I like the size, weight, and feel of them. They are easy to install and don't take up much space in the cupboard. The only downside is that the lids fit well when first installed, but after cooling in the fridge, the lids seem to shrink and no longer seal.May 13, 2023
