The product is well made but would not be my first choice. The product is sturdy and does its job well. The bread does not stick. However, this type of basin attracts these little white bugs, I don't know what they are called. I have seen them in both home and commercial kitchens. They like warm and fresh conditions. Again, this seller is not wrong and I strongly recommend that you do not buy this type of basket. The green plastic banners are much better and you can clean them well in the sink.August 16, 2024

Pros and cons. The basket works well, but the accessories are not so good. The bread dough is not sharp at all, so it is totally unsuitable for forming patterns. The silicone brush is of very poor quality.October 17, 2023

Hopefully the baskets don't get moldy! The product looks pretty hard. The lining is made of quality cotton. The blades don't rust over time. I tried using unlined baskets, washed them after use and dried them. I saw black mold on the outside of the container. Now I can't carry them without the lining.March 29, 2023

Great gift but some items are missing. These sets are perfect as gifts. I ordered 2 but they were missing the baking wire and 2 bread scrapers. I loved the items I received and gave as a gift so I don't want to return them. I wish they would send me the missing details as well.July 6, 2021

Very good game, a little broken. I ordered him to use more "professional" fermenters. One of the baskets broke and my husband had to repair it. It wasn't terrible, just disappointing. The rest of the ingredients were good and after many attempts I made a delicious sourdough starter. The baskets tend to stick together if they are not covered with a thick layer of rice flour, which was a special purchase. I have since bought silicone and like those baskets much better. The rest of the items make life a lot easier.March 3, 2021

Very good set for beginners. The set is very good for beginners: the basket is well made, the sharpener is practical and small, and so is the brush! The only thing that didn't help was that the scoring tool was not sharp enough to score without sawing and tearing the dough.July 21, 2020

Fun and cute. They are cute and look a little dainty. I love them. The tops are cute too, nicely detailed and very rustic. I am concerned that they will stay nice too wet. Cleaning them and/or dusting them with flour seems to be the only way to keep them nice. You do need to wash them a bit when you get them, some people are fine with a damp cloth and soft brush but I think soaking them would damage them. I'm not sure but better to be cautious than sorry. They are held together with nails/staples and glue but I think the smell is from the glue and not the wood itself. I have silicone waterproof baskets and they smell awful when you take them out of the packaging? They need to be cleaned and soaked more often. These wooden baskets may have a similar problem but not as severe.March 21, 2020
