It seems to work. But I assumed it would work differently. Here's why..I received the product, it took no problem, and when I connected it to my Oculus I noticed that the battery was draining at the same time as the internal battery. The Oculus indicates that it is charging. Even if I leave the Oculus in sleep mode, the battery charges it. But I noticed that the internal battery runs out when the battery is plugged in. As I said, the Oculus shows that it is charging. Sometimes when I unplug and plug it back in (when the headset is about 95% charged), the charge level stays at 95%. But then I used it again when the battery was about 73% charged, while the battery died at the same time as the internal battery. I'm hoping that if I charge the headset to over 95%, it will stay at 95% again. It's a little tricky, which is why I gave it a 4 star rating. I don't really understand how the internal battery can be discharged when an external battery is providing power. The box came with a very simple manual that doesn't explain how it works. But I'm pretty sure it works. I think you need to connect the battery after turning on the Oculus.November 26, 2023

Overall a great and functional rechargeable headband with one missing part.This is a nice, durable headband for Quest 2 with an additional battery that is the best for providing extra playtime. I particularly like the fact that the sides are very flexible and less prone to breakage. The original Quest 2 Elite band broke twice on me. Now we'll see how this works. The only thing I don't like is that you can't charge the headset and headband at the same time because the included cable has to be plugged into the same port where you would charge the headset.November 19, 2023

Requires a separate charging port.The tape isn't bad, except for one flaw. You have to disconnect it from the headset to charge the battery. If it had two ports, one for charging and one for connecting to the headset, you wouldn't have to constantly plug it in and unplug the cables. Otherwise it's a pretty good headband.November 8, 2023

It's nice that the battery is there, but otherwise simple..Pros:Convenient.Nice to have the built-in battery. Charges well while gaming.Easy to adjust to your head.Not heavy.Cons:The Quest sat heavier on my face. Not that bad. You just have to get used to it.Additional hinges on the side may be needed to raise the oculus. To remove it without stressing the side straps over time, you need to loosen the strap with the rear stud. I prefer to be able to unhook it to maintain the fit. This may not bother others.Neutral:Just press the battery button when adjusting the fit.It is better than the original strap, so if you assume that you will be happier because of it. The price is reasonable for a battery. Otherwise I would consider this mid-range.October 21, 2023

Helps balance weight.First and foremost, this is a really good upgrade for anyone still using the stock head strap from their Quest 2. The fact that it allows you to adjust it to your head size without having to struggle with Velcro straps is a huge bummer.< br The built-in battery means the weight is distributed more evenly. This helps prevent fatigue during use.It doesn't take very long to charge the battery and will definitely help you play longer than the Quest 2 would normally allow.The fact that you can lift the Quest 2 off your face without taking it off is also a huge advantage, as it means you no longer have to take it off and put it back on to make adjustments or when someone is talking to you, even when you're not playing games.It takes some getting used to, but the part that goes over the forehead is a great addition as it helps increase comfort. The downside, however, is that it doesn't sit directly on the forehead, giving the impression that this makes it a little more prone to possible slipping if you make jerky movements. Overall, it's great for doing your quest 2 experience more comfortable and I would highly recommend it. Definitely try to get it on sale if you can, but the regular price isn't bad for something like this.September 22, 2023

Comfortable Quest 2 Elite head strap with integrated battery, what more could you want?.We ordered this Quest 2 Elite headband to replace another Elite headband that had room for a battery on the back. When we used this with a 10,000 milliamp battery, it felt heavy, unbalanced, and strange. This has its own built-in 5000 mAh battery and is hardly noticeable. The Quest 2 is connected via an included USB-C to USB-C cable. Although the manual says it takes 2.5 hours to charge, for us it took about 3 hours to charge. Your mileage may vary. With Wi-Fi connected and online surfing, it takes about 2 hours. Again, your mileage may vary. There are 4 LED indicators on the back that show when it is charged and when the battery is charging. It features a single tightening element at the back and is quite comfortable once adjusted. The padded back provides good support and comfort. The construction seems a bit flimsy, especially the straps themselves. They seem to be bending a bit, but so far no signs of breaking. Putting the strap on took less than 5 minutes. They snap into place pretty easily. If you are looking for a comfortable Elite headband with a battery function, you might like this one.June 12, 2023

Missing charging cable for the battery.This headband is super beautiful! Easy to install and easy to adjust. My only complaint is that the cable connecting the battery and the Oculus is missing. I would like to contact the company and just have them send me the missing part but the only option I have is to return the headband to get another one that has the cable. I will continue to explore my options and may end up returning it. My other option is to use the cable that came with the Oculus, which is longer but it would be enough, but at the same time it is the principle that should have come with the cable that is mentioned in the description.March 18, 2023

Solid..The battery extends my playing time by about 2 hours. The headset holds everything in place very well. More robust than the Quest2. The only problem is that it takes a while to dial in. After that you don't have to worry anymore!February 9, 2023
