Beautiful embodiment of form and function.I really like this set of utensils. They are beautifully shiny and dark and look absolutely opulent in a table setting or whimsical in everyday use. So far they seem to be holding up as you would expect for stainless steel and appear to have the potential to last a very long time. The only weak point in the entire set is the steak knives. The serration works well, but can be tricky to keep sharpened over time. That aside though, they are really durable and have no issues shown so far.

Very stubborn! Sees it!.love this set that I bought!! This set is perfect and the color is like a gray black, I've gotten so many compliments when people come over how much they love the set! I saw mixed reviews, and I didn't buy it because of those reviews and I took the chance and I'm happy I did. Other people who leave negative reviews about rusting or spots on the spoons after washing them probably just have OCD. Yes when you wash the spoons and forks, if you don't dry them, the spots will show more because they're black, but that's not a problem with me because it bothers some more than others. If the spots really bother you, once you wash them, dry them right away. I have had NO issues with the knives rusting either.If your a chill person – buy it, promise you'll love it.But if you're a picky person, don't buy it!

Amazing set for an affordable price.This is an 18/0 stainless steel which is the weakest when it comes to stainless steel. This is much lighter than an 18/8 or 18/10 set, but it's still dishwasher safe. I've run it through the dishwasher over a dozen times and the coating is still strong. The balance of these utensils are great. I absolutely love this set.

Fine silverware set.Coming in at just over $2 a set this is a fine deal. The finish on them is nice and they feel natural in the hand. The steak knives are VERY sharp and I found it out the hard way. If they sliced through me without hesitation the steak never stood a chance! They stood up to dishwashing without an issue and have replaced mostly all the other silverware I had been using. Coming from a cheap(er) set these feel like such an upgrade!I have not fully tested their durability but if it is consistent with the rest of my experience with them I doubt I will be disappointed.If you need new silverware but don't t see the point in spending tons of cash I recommend picking up this set. I might end up actually picking up a second set to keep on hand as backup to replace these when it's time.

Surprised at the quality.am very happy with the quality of this silverware set. I have hard water and they have very little hard water spots if any after being in the dishwasher. They also come clean easily in the dishwasher verses some of my other silverware that is name brand. The steak knives are typical cheap quality but for me that's okay because for me I have Cutco knives. I still use them but after a few times in the dishwasher they are starting to show rust spots. I wanted the silverware not the knives so my feelings aren't hurt over it but it could be a big deal to someone else.

High Quality Stainless Steel Flatware.This 24-piece flatware set gives you enough utensils to create a full 4-place setting including steak knives. The steak knives come protected with individual cardboard covers for their serrated edges and they are sharp with a nice standard kerf to handle whatever you might throw at them. The spoons are shallower and wider than what we are used to with our older silverware set but this makes them better suited for soups/cereal use and the handles have a nice length and balance to them. The forks come in two lengths as well, standard dinner fork and salad/desert fork, and the butter knives have a half-serrated length that makes them easy to use and spread with. They have a nice mirror finish that gives them a gunmetal-like finish vs. a full black and they look fabulous. They do have a slight sheen/residue that needs to be removed by washing them with soapy water and/or running them through your dishwasher before using them the first time and that's called out in the simple care sheet provided along with the set. This is a nice set of silverware.Each piece has a nice weight and sheen to it. They are not as heavy as some of the silverware that I have had in the past, but they are not flimsy either. I love the addition of the steak knives. They are nice and sharp.The care instructions say to wash by hand and dry them. I'm not about that life. I wash my dishes and silverware in the dishwasher. So far, these have been kept up fine in the dishwasher. I take them out and dry any remaining moisture before putting them away.

Bang for your buck!!!.Soooooo, ultimately I'm really in love. I bought these as an overall house gift for my home for Christmas. Right out of the box, I was very impressed. The matte black finish is to die for. Super elegant. There's two sizes of spoons and forks, which is a must. In the reviews I had read that the steak knives rusted on other buyers, if left in the sink. I haven't found that to be the case. Does not rust for us 3 months in everyday use. The set has been run through the dishwasher time and time again with virtually no issues. My only complaint overall is that some of the pieces have gotten dinged/scratched up. Now some of the pieces have silver showing through where it's scratched. It's not a huge deal, and not noticeable unless inspecting the silverware. For the price, you get a good amount of silverware that is beautiful, and sturdy for most part. I love the product.

Easy to wash in some warm water with mild detergent. I wouldn't recommend adding bleach to your water. I paid less than $12 for this set to use for a dinner I hosted, expecting that it would look awful after a few uses. I've been using the set for weeks now and it still looks as good as when I got it! The copper color of the flatware is gorgeous and exactly what I was looking for. After weeks of daily use, there's no discoloration or staining, bending, or any other issues. Both the knives and the flatware have sat in water and gone through the dishwasher multiple times with no rusting. The only hint that this set is so cheap is the steak knives, which are very light in your hand and have plastic handles but they have worked just fine for me. I'm definitely satisfied with this set and I wish everything I needed could be so affordable!(PS- Be prepared. The silverware comes individually wrapped.)

still clean.Have been using these for about a year now and none of them have any dried food to them that I can't get off and there are no water spots that get stuck on them. The utensils themselves are very strong and do not bend with little force. The only thing that I would have liked to see is for a tray to have come with it.

Great set very good quality sturdy and attractive.I read some other reviews and there is no way they were talking about this set because these pieces are very durable and the color is outstanding. Not cheap of flimsy in any way. If you're on the fence hop over it's a very worthwhile purchase. I can't believe anyone would pay more. Better quality that a pizza place dinning chain more like an upscaled restaurant would have.

Love this flatware set even though it isn't a true black.was skeptical at first, but very happy with this purchase.If you are looking for a true black as listed, don't get this set. They are a dark gray/gun metal color which is why I took one star off. I actually like the color and don't mind. They are sturdy/heavy like normal stainless steel flatware and easy to clean. My favorite part are the steak knives which are hard to find in a set like this for more than 4 settings.Exceeds expectations and totally worth the money!

Stunning in its simplicity.bought this set of stainless flatware because over the years, my forks and spoons have inexplicably disappeared while my knives seem to continually clone themselves. I finally faced the issue head on when I was down to my last two forks and spoons. After a lot of research, I settled on this set and ordered it. Happily it arrived in just a week. First, it is so stunning in its elegant simplicity. It can accent any table. The value cannot be matched – believe me, I tried. Finally it coordinated with the last of my forks and spoons and gave me an excuse to say goodbye to my overflowing knife collection. The only negative, and it is only really a preference, is that the flatware isn't as heavy as I would prefer. I like my silverware to be as heavy as possible. Still, it had enough weight that I felt it needed a five star rating overall. For the price, it is much better quality than I expected. Finally, my old forks and spoons have company, and my overflowing knives have been retired.

Nice weight, interesting look.Considering the price point for this flatware, we were impressed with the look, quality, and performance.The utensils themselves have a good weight and definitely will not bend easily.The larger spoon is quite a bit bigger than a tablespoon and the dessert fork is very small.Most importantly, we could eat comfortably with all of these.The handles are easy to hold and the steak knife worked great on rib-eyes we just happened to be having when they arrived.The black finish is interesting; the effect is not as striking as expected, but still nice.The low gloss black finish actually reminds me of darker metals.Regarding washing, the direction are very clear about avoiding harsh scrubbers that might damage the finish. We sent our through the dishwasher and they came out looking great.I would absolutely recommend this black flatware.I could see it as a cool element to a design theme and/or as flatware that you use every single day.A great set to pick up for yourself or give as a housewarming or wedding gift.

Good looking and sturdy flatware but one small downside..The flatware looks very stylish and they are excellent for all your meals. There are two things that I'd like to point out.The stake knives cut through meat very well but they do so in a tearing kind of way. They don't just cut smoothly through steaks, instead they cut but at the same time if it feels like they are tearing the meat with the sharp "teeth" of the steak knives. Second, I washed all the flatware along with my regular silver colored flatware on my dishwasher and they do leave water and soap spots on them similar to the spots left on my silver colored flatware. I suspect with the correct dishwasher soap the water and soap spots would be very minimal. Overall they are great and very stylish for all your meals.

A handsome set of rugged flatware..I don't know if my family is the only one with a bunch of mismatched flatware collected over the years, but I decided this is the time to rectify that problem. This set is very rugged and being coated makes them stand out. These would work well for a restaurant. It's only 4 place settings so I plan to get another set or two. These are well-made and certainly don't feel cheap. I think the price is fair for what you get.

Very shiny!.This black silverware is so beautiful! The steak knives are so-so, but the silverware is top quality! Many times colored silverware is either dull or tarnish easily. That is not the case with this stainless steel flatware. It is mirror polished. It's smooth, and easy to clean. This flatware is not dishwasher safe. It is real stainless steel and should be washed by hand. The silverware is elegant and durable. I highly recommend it!

Unique metal color; good value.ordered these because the black stainless steel coloring intrigued me. The silverware matches my black stainless steel refrigerator and other appliances. They're attractive and stylish and would fit with most types of decors. The pieces are nicely made, without any sharp edges. They have a smooth finish and weigh on the lighter side. They feel slightly thin compared to my current silverware. The silverware is balanced. The fork prongs are longish, and the spoons have a nice capacity. Some other spoons seemed to me a bit flat, not curved enough to hold much. The flatware also includes a set of serrated steak knives which are very sharp. The metal knife goes all the way to the end of the knife handle, fastened with rivets. I took a photo that included a piece of my silver stainless steel silverware (on the left side) to compare its coloring to the black stainless steel. I washed and dried them in the dishwasher which uses hard water. They came out spotless and beautiful. My only caveat would be that if they were handwashed in hard water and weren't dried right away, the dark finish would probably readily show hard water spots. I have not used them long enough to see if the finish resists scratches. It's a great buy for the quality and quantity. It could make a nice gift. Each piece comes wrapped individually. I hope this is helpful information.

worth the money.One of the reviews said the spoon bent easily. I am not sure why they did that. When I got my package I was surprised by the weight of these. Then when I opened them I was delighted to find then thick and sturdy. My expensive silverware is not ever close to the sturdiness of these. This Ia A Medium Light to Medium Weight Set.For me, the most important aspect of silverware is its heft and weight. I like substantial something…but I also look for the economy. These 2 things are almost impossible to find together. I would classify this set as medium to light-medium in booklet. It is better than Walmart stuff (which practically bends under normal use). For me, this is substantial enough to withstand normal heavy use and the price is good. Well done.

Perfectly elegant in shape and weight, very ergonomic and high quality..These are some of the best utensils I have ever bought or used in every respect. Shape, weight, hand feel and performance. Amazingly easy to clean spotlessly. I love this set.I'm puzzled by reviews that talk about spotting and even rusting. Mine rinse off with warm water and soap if necessary and look new. Dry easily and quickly. As for rusting, that's ridiculous. These are high quality polished stainless steel. Actually, any stainless steel will develop rust spots if you grind off the passivation layer and expose raw iron particles. But unless you take a grinding wheel to these utensils they will never rust. I have been using mine daily for two years and they look like I just opened the box. Best stainless utensil set I have ever bought in terms of shape, thickness, strength, and overall appearance. Oh, and by the way, I was really surprised how the serrated side on the knives actually cuts steak easily. Not many inexpensive utensil sets have knives like these.

Not bad.The box was shipped in a bag instead of a box and came completely undone in the mail. The silverware was hanging outside the box and the knives were on the outside of the box. Some of them came scuffed up. The bigger spoons are a lot bigger than I thought. The knives were loose near the handle. Other than that, they were nice.

Really nice stainless steel flatware!.This flatware set is a great addition to my table settings. I love the addition of matching steak knives with a nice serrated cutting edge. The spoons and forks are a bit longer than the set I have been using, but they make a nice mix and match set. For right now, I am hand washing the pieces but I'm sure I will switch to my dishwasher. Good for the price, but not a steal?.This set does the job and is pretty god for the price, however the main issue I have is you CANNOT wash and let air dry it will accumulate rust very quickly. This needs to be dried completely right after washing or else you will get rust, so if you do that then this will be a good set for you. No other real issues, apart from that I would recommend!

Nice set of silverware!.It all comes packed tight inside a small box, just be careful as to which side you open and start removing the silverware as it is all just inside of little plastic sleeves inside and with steak knives you just want to use caution. Use: I ran these through the dishwasher just fine. These are gunmetal colored..Based on the pictures and description, I was expecting black colored silverware. However, these read towards more gunmetal black than dark black. It's actually better than it's gunmetal since there is this nice silver undertone to it and it looks very high end. How did they achieve this level of quality for the price?!.WOW okay this has to be the best purchase I have made on the site so far. I wasn't expecting the best of the best because of the price, however that is exactly what I got! I had purchased other items with a copper finish and unfortunately those items came with tiny little scratches. Not a big deal, they are very small and overall those kitchenware products are still beautiful. But these came in the most amazing condition. No scratches, absolutely flawless, along with a comfortable heavy weight that lets you know these are NOT flimsy and will not bend easily. The steak knives were also an impressive level of quality and appear as though they will hold up over a long time. I'll have to see how the copper finish ages with time, especially in a dishwasher, but based on it's looks, weight and sturdiness I see these lasting a decent amount of time. Highly recommend, this is a stunning set.

Heavy, they feel good.These have heavy handles, which I kind of like. The material is just stainless (as with any utensil set in this price range). Knife serrations are sharp, but I wish they were straight edge to sharpen easier. Knives are a bit thin but not thin enough to bend on the first use. My family has been putting them through rough use for a little 2 weeks, and they've held up well.

Excellent gift!.My aunt and uncle are happy that I gave them these beautiful and unique utensils (we only have silver colored utensils at home) as their birthday gifts since utensils at our household seem to easily go missing for a while when they are not washed in the dishwasher yet .

I really like this set.this is a really nice set. I love the color and pattern, and they are very sturdy, (can't accidentally bend them) the only thing I didn't like was I just expected them to be a little more heavy weighted. now that is not a flaw it didn't state that they would be its just personal preference, so if you like the weight in your hand this isn't the set for you. but if you like the black hammered look and don't care this is perfect!!!!!

Good set of silverware for the money.Silverware has held up so far. Have not had any flaking of the finish or anything and they have been through multiple loads in the dishwasher. Definitely a good value buy.
